Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("T&C") govern the use of this website and the services provided by JYC Entertainment ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing our website or booking services through us, you agree to the following terms.

1. Booking & Payment Terms

  • A 50% non-refundable retainer is required to reserve your date and lock in your pricing.

  • The remaining balance is due in full before the start of the event.

  • Accepted payment methods: Zelle, Venmo, or cash (see invoice for details).

  • Prices are valid for 14 days after quote issuance.

 

2. Service Modifications

  • Items or services may be added at any time (subject to availability).

  • Reductions must be made at least 14 days prior to the event date.

  • Unused or canceled items will not be refunded.

 

3. Event Requirements

  • Client is responsible for providing adequate power, space, and a table for DJ equipment unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Client assumes responsibility for any damage caused to equipment by guests, venue staff, or the host during the event.

 

4. Rental Item Policy

  • For any rentals, items become the client’s responsibility from delivery or pickup until returned.

  • Late return fees and replacement charges apply as follows:

    • 20% fee after 1 day

    • Full replacement charged on day 3

  • Linens damaged by wax, ink, glue, staples, or other non-standard use will be billed at full replacement cost (up to 5× the rental price).

 

5. Liability & Insurance

JYC Entertainment is covered by commercial general liability insurance through Thimble (Verifly Insurance Services, Policy #IBL-FK7HJYCACC). Proof of insurance can be provided to venues upon request.

We are not liable for delays or disruptions due to:

  • Venue restrictions or power outages

  • Acts of nature (weather, emergencies)

  • Guest interference or on-site hazards

 

6. Cancellations & Refunds

  • All payments are non-refundable. In certain cases of force majeure, credit may be issued toward a future booking at our discretion.

 

7. Use of Website

By using this website, you agree not to:

  • Misuse forms or contact methods to spam or misrepresent

  • Copy, reproduce, or redistribute content, media, or branding without written consent

 

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or change these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services or website constitutes your agreement to the updated terms.
